Since incorporating in 1966, A.R.Hewitt Limited has completed countless projects encompassing custom homes, merchant built homes, commercial buildings, renovations, and restorations. Our most recent subdivision development, known as Keene Heights, is located just east of Peterborough.

As one of the longest standing builder members of the Peterborough & District Home Builders Association, we continue to build on our reputation of skilled craftsmen dedicated to satisfying our customers. We hold ourselves and our network of subtrades and suppliers to the highest of standards.

Our outstanding committment has earned us the Ontario New Home Warranty Program's 2000, 15 Year Seal of Excellence certificate. We have also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ontario Home Builders' Association in recognition of our contribution to the residential construction industry.

Dean Hewitt, president of A.R.Hewitt Limited, is a journeyman carpenter with over 15 years of 'hands on' experience. This is a family run business that was started over 40 years ago by A.R.(Reg) Hewitt. Today, Reg's wife, Evelyn, and daughter Krista, share administrative responsibilities. Together, Dean, Krista, and Evelyn help families explore all of their options in making their dream home a reality.

In 1993 and again in 1997, we were honoured to be the Official Builder of the 1st and 5th Kiwanis Dream Home for the Peterborough Civic Hospital Foundation.
